The Town of Mashpee Building Department is seeking applicants for an Assistant Plumbing/Gas Inspector to fill in occasionally, $25.81/hr. This position may work up to18 hours/week Monday through Friday.
Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or GED. Gas Fitter’s License required. Massachusetts Plumber’s License required. Five years experience as a licensed journeyman plumber and gas fitter or licensed plumber.
Responsibilities: Responsible for the administrative, technical and inspection work related to the enforcement and interpretation of the Massachusetts State Plumbing Code and the Massachusetts Code for the Installation of Gas Appliances and Gas Piping.
