Personal Property Taxes
Q: I sold my property , however I still received a personal property tax, am I responsible for this bill?
A: Personal property taxes are assessed to the owner of record on January 1st of each year
Bills for Fiscal Year 2009 are due and payable by the owner of record on January 1st, 2008.
Even though you may have sold the property subsequent to January 1 2008, you are still liable for
the entire fiscal year of 2009.
