PROCESS IS AS FOLLOWS:
Submit check to the Selectmen’s Office for $40.00, payable to the Town of Mashpee for mandatory newspaper advertisement fee
Once the application is received it will be forwarded to the Mashpee Police Department for review of need for additional service within the town
When recommendations from Police Department is received by the Selectmen’s Office, a public hearing will be scheduled
You will be notified of the date, time and place of said hearing by mail
Upon approval at hearing, schedule an inspection with Sergeant Umina at the Mashpee Police Department
As soon as inspection is completed, bring copy of inspection papers to Selectmen’s Office
License will be prepared at that time and will take approximately one week to have Selectmen sign
Submit check to the Selectmen’s Office for $100 for license fee payable to the Town of Mashpee and pick up license
