**Applicant must have place of business (not in residential area) before any action can be taken regarding a Class II used car license.
Process is as follows:
File Used Car Application and $40 check made out to the Town of Mashpee (for advertising) at Selectmen’s Office
Board of Selectmen schedule hearing
Public notice placed in the newspaper
Building Inspector will visit site
Hearing takes place at Selectmen’s Meeting (applicant should be present in case of any questions regarding license)
Approval or disapproval of license ordered by Selectmen
If approved, Selectmen’s Office prepares license
$100 license fee must be paid before license is issued
